One word of advice would never buy a Jeg distributor for a Chevrolet engine. My Jet boat when through 4 of them Jeg brand distributors and they all fail in about the same number of hours of time used. I went to a marine junk yard then found a Volo distributor for a Chevrolet bought that some 10 years ago with it still running my Jet boat Chevrolet 402 BB engine

Way better than running a circle track. Running the rapids and reading the water pits another layer of needed skill. Although knowing that river would put you at a major advantage I'm sure like most, these fast rivers change considerably from month to month, flood to flood. Every heavy rain changes the gravel bars and changes the line.

AMAZING! I love to go fast on water (smooth water)! I have a Donzi with a Blown BBC making around 600 HP the best i have seen is just under 90 mph on GPS and to be hones that seemed pretty darned fast to me and I was alone in the boat, if I have anybody with me I like the 65 mph limit thing can go wrong very fast even at 65 mph! The HP and level of skill involved in this kind of racing is SO IMPRESSIVE, being able to read the river at 100 mph and be able to put all the data into the knowledge to be successful, I have no experience with water like this but your knowledge of the river and your equipment is truly amazing! Be Safe keep being impressive as hell!

Great action! Great engine sound... really winding out. However, those two women sitting near the edge of the shore are in great danger should a boat lose control. They can't even move out of the way quickly sitting down like that.
